Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate is an UV filter used to protect the skin from UV damages.

Triethanolamine can also be added to help improve the stability of a product through its dual action of adjusting the pH and acting as an emulsifier to ensure that the different ingredients don’t separate or crystallize.

Trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate is used in skincare formulations such as moisturisers to bind and neutralize metal ions that would normally affect the stability and appearance of a product.
